Fireman's Ball

All are invited to join the Maynard Firefighters for the revival of the Fireman's Ball.  This will be November 4, 2017 at the Maynard Rod and Gun Club beginning at 6pm.  Dinner and dancing to follow.  To purchase tickets, you can donate here on the website through PayPal or you can contact Shawn Boulette at ShawnBoulette@yahoo.com .

Relief Association T-Shirts

The Relief Association's new tshirts and hoodies are in and available for purchase. Proceeds go directly to the relief association. They even added workout shorts this year. Contact Walter Latta to purchase or e-mail MFDLocal1947@gmail.com and we will forward your request to him.

Live Fire Training

Last week, Local 1947 along with Stow and Acton Fire took on RIT and Live Fire exercises.  Check out the links below for pictures and stories.  It was a great partnership and training supported by Chief Stowers and led by Training Officer Captain Walter Latta. Thank you to all involved.

Telephone Fundraising Concluded

Dear Maynard Residents and Local Businesses,

As promised, we wanted to updated you on the progress of our Fundraising Drive.  As of 10/24/2016 the telephone fundraising push has ended and only follow up communication with those interested in donating should be occurring.

Dear Maynard Residents and Local Businesses,

The Maynard Professional Firefighters Union, I.A.F.F. Local 1947 has partnered with TCI America to run a fundraising drive for our Local.  This company will assist us by calling and requesting your support for the welfare of the Union as well as our continued outreach to local charities.  We expect this fundraising drive to last through October.  We will post again on this site when it is concluded.
